She was named after a mermaid on the tv show 'Fantasy Island.'
It has been speculated that she's dated Glee co-star Mark Salling.
She was in a video for B2K's 'Why I Love You.'
She has tattoos of the word 'fighter' on her right wrist, a cross on her lower back and another one on her right foot.
She was in a Kmart ad when she was less than a year old.

Why she might not be annoying:

When she's not acting, she works as a singer and expressed interest in becoming a screenwriter.
She was inspired to try out for Glee based on executive producer Ryan Murphy's previous work (ie . Nip/Tuck), not to mention the opportunity to act, sing and dance on the same show.
