Her acting career was overshadowed by her marriage to DiMaggio.
For that matter, her marriage to DiMaggio was overshadowed by his next marriage, to Marilyn Monroe.
She sued unsuccessfully for full custody of their son on the grounds that Monroe was a threat to the boy's morals.
Her return to movies after divorcing DiMaggio was unsuccessful.

She was 20 minutes late to her wedding to DiMaggio because the streets around the church were jammed with 20,000 well-wishers.
She owned a supper club in Palm Springs where she performed for the customers.
She looked like Marilyn Monroe.
