The Resume

    (December 14, 1986- )
Born in Washington, District of Columbia
Birth name is Emory Andrew Tate III
    Kickboxer, online personality
    Contestant on Big Brother
Had 4.7 million followers on Facebook and Instagram

Why he might be annoying:

He panders to the Alpha Male Red Pill community.
He came under scrutiny for several tweets deemed homophobic and racist.
The release of a video in which showed him appearing to beat a woman with a belt got him kicked out of the Big Brother house after only six days of participation (2016).
He chose to rehabilitate his image by appearing on InfoWars, with gigs on Mike Cernovich and Paul Joseph Watson.
A series of tweets that included his victim blaming sexual assault survivors and claiming depression 'isn't real' got him banned off Twitter (2017).
He said on Twitch: 'One of the best things about being a man is being territorial and being able to say that is mine.'
His various incendiary comments got him deplatformed from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube (August 2022).
He had a heated interview with Piers Morgan over his previously calling 25 year-old women less desirable than 18 year-old women, comments which the host deemed 'misogynistic.'

Why he might not be annoying:

His father was an International Chess champion.
He himself was a chess prodigy and competed in several adult tournaments as a child.
He was ranked 7th best light-heavyweight kickboxer in Britain by the International Sport Kickboxing Association.
He became a viral phenomenon on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, racking up millions of views at his peak.
He defended Kevin Samuels when people - mainly feminists - were celebrating his death.
The woman in the 'belt' video came forward to confirm that they were being depicted having consensual sex.
At the close of their interview, Piers asked his viewers to answer 'Does Andrew Tate deserve to be de-platformed?' and the majority of responses in the comments were supportive of Tate (that and for Piers Morgan to be calling someone misogynistic is pretty rich).
