    Portrayed George McLeod in ‘Burke’s Law’ (1963-65), ‘Amos Fedders in ‘Falcon Crest’ (1988-89), and Saul Feinberg in The Bold and the Beautiful (1989-93)
    Appeared repeatedly as a coroner or autopsy surgeon in Perry Mason (1957-63)
    Appeared in the films ‘Serpent of the Nile’ (1953), ‘The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms’ (1953), ‘The Lost Planet’ (1953), ‘Conquest of Space’ (1955), ‘The Girl in the Kremlin’ (1957), ‘The New Interns’ (1964), ‘Bloody Mama’ (1970), and ‘Over the Top’ (1987)

Why he might be annoying:

    He is the reason the more famous Michael Fox had to add a ‘J’ to his name.
    Ironically, he was not originally named Michael.
    He married his wife Hannah by driving with her to a judge between the matinee and evening performances of a play he was acting in.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His marriage to Hannah Jacobson lasted 49 years until his death.
    He appeared in episodes of the original Twilight Zone and its 80s revival.
    He is the namesake for the ‘Dr. Fox effect’: for an experiment, he was hired to deliver a lecture to a class of psychiatry students. Although the talk was meaningless and self-contradictory, since he delivered it in an expressive and engaging manner, the students evaluated him positively and described the lecture as informative.
