    A professor at MIT called her ‘one of the least responsible mainstream journalists covering vaccines and autism.’
    She has repeatedly alleged that CBS News failed to give sufficient coverage of Barack Obama controversies, such as the 2012 Benghazi attack.
    She alleged that her personal and work computers had been ‘compromised’ for more than two years at CBS by the Department of Justice (May 2013).
    She defended her claims in an interview with Chris Hayes, at the end of which the host asked her if she was angling for a job at Fox News.

    She is one of the few journalists to have flown in a B-52 on a combat mission.
    She received an Investigative Emmy Award in 2009 for her exclusive investigations into TARP and the bank bailout.
    She is a RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award recipient in 2012.
    She received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism for her reporting in 2013 (she received two other Emmy nominations that same year).
