Why he might be annoying:

    He was notoriously quiet, taking long pauses and saying little during interviews.
    He has been indirectly critical of Lewis Hamilton on several occasions.
    He reportedly angered Ayrton Senna by claiming to have 'bigger balls' after beating him at the 1993 Portuguese Grand Prix.
    He won the Australian Grand Prix after teammate David Coulthard let Häkkinen past to win the race, causing widespread protests (March 1998).
    In 2001, he announced he was going to take a year's sabbatical to spend more time with his family, and he never returned.

    His favorite artists are Phil Collins and Frank Sinatra.
    His success in the 1998 season helped McLaren secure the World Constructors' Championship.
    He maintains a collection of McLaren hypercars, all of which he keeps in Monaco.
    He is a brand ambassador to Mercedes-Benz, UBS, and several anti-drunk driving campaigns.
    His newly completed mansion in France burned down after a light in one of his trophy cabinets short circuited, destroying his Formula One trophies in the process (May 2008).
    He is the first Finnish Formula One driver to win the World Drivers' Championship more than once.
    He has been voted among the greatest Formula One drivers and was a rival of Michael Schumacher.
