Why CTV (TV Network) might be annoying:

It primarily relies on reruns of many popular television programs in the United States.
Despite the fact that the initials CTV do not stand for anything, most people think it is an acronym for 'Canadian Television.'
It lost significant coverage in British Columbia and Newfoundland with a major re-alignment in 2001.
Their signature circle, square, and triangle logo was later ripped off by US broadcast network UPN.
They also gave us the inane 'DeGrassi: The Next Generation' and 'Canadian Idol.'
It is largely overshadowed by CBC.

Why CTV (TV Network) might not be annoying:

They air major international events such as the Super Bowl, the Oscars, and the Olympics.
Their evening news anchor, Lloyd Robertson, is the longest serving news anchor for a single English-language news program.
They began broadcasting in color in 1966.
Their newsmagazine W-FIVE is one of the longest running primetime news programs.
