Why he might be annoying:

    He goes by the nickname 'Storm,' but the origins vary from being named after a fictional character to his pitching style being similar to that of Jim Palmer's.
    He was originally penned as the starter for Game 3 of the 1989 World Series, but lost it as a result of a 10 day break, caused by the Loma Prieta earthquake.
    He publicly chastised Tony La Russa for his decision not to start him in the game.
    He played on five different teams, including two stints with the Orioles and Athletics.
    His velocity and effectiveness dropped off in the later stages of his career.

    His family raised fellow major league player Glenn Davis, which led to the two considering themselves brothers.
    He was a member of two World Series championship teams in his career (1983, 1989).
    He won a career-high 19 games (1989).
    He was considered a coachable player, who had a knack to learn and excel on the field.
    Dave Stewart considered him to be the best fifth starter in baseball, during their tenure in Oakland.
