He got his teeth knocked out when he was driving drunk and had an accident with a van.
He died just before one of the best selling heavy metal albums of all time, 'Back in Black' was to be released. He was drunk and passed out in his friends parked car and choked on his own vomit (February 19, 1980).
He had a bird of prey, lion on his left arm and snake and dagger tattoos.
