    He was injury prone during the later part of his career.
    Despite being considered one of the better setup men in baseball, he received little to no attention, as a result of playing in Toronto.
    He goes by his middle name instead of his first name, Roy.
    He missed the entire 1994 season due to shoulder problems.
    He was traded from Atlanta to Toronto four months into his rookie season (1986).

    He was drafted by the Braves months after his senior year of high school.
    He was a fixture in the Jays bullpen for many years, and served as the team's closer during the final three seasons of his career.
    He was a member of the Blue Jays first two World Series championship teams (1992, 1993).
    He, along with Jeff Montgomery, were co-winners of the AL Saves Championship title (1993).
    He was considered a steal in Toronto by baseball pundits, as the team acquired him by trading Doyle Alexander to the Braves.
