As Palmolive advertising icon, Madge the Manicurist, palmolive sales rose.
Her advertising role as Madge was one of the longest on-going TV endorsements, lasting twenty-seven years (1965-92).
She did the Palmolive commercials in four foreign languages (Danish, French, German and Italian).
She was a pioneer of TV starring in the 1951 'Crime Photographer.'
She appeared in almost two dozen 'Robert Montgomery Presents' episodes.
She performed in many local theater production.
Her biggest acting role was that of Sally Marr, Lenny Bruce's mother, in 'Lenny.'
