Why Quebec Bulldogs might be annoying:

They were an exhibition team for the first ten years of their history.
They declined an opportunity to play in the 1894 Stanley Cup Finals, due to the fact they were unable to get their request to play one game in Quebec City.
They sat out the 1910 season as a result of being rejected by the upstart National Hockey Association.
They were forced to sit out the NHL's inaugural season as a result of financial constraints.
They were taken over by the NHL and sold to a group who relocated the franchise to Hamilton, Ontario (1920).

Why Quebec Bulldogs might not be annoying:

They are one of the first organized ice hockey teams in North America.
Hall of Fame forward Joe Malone spent a significant portion of his career with them.
They were the first NHL franchise to be based out of Quebec City.
They won back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 1912 and 1913.
Despite not having the popularity or nostalgia as the Nordiques, they hold the distinction of bringing home the city's first professional championship.
