    Played for Duke University (1997-2001), Memphis Grizzlies (2001-2006, 2011), Houston Rockets (2006-2011) and Miami Heat
    Played on the United States Men's Basketball team
    He graduated from Duke with a degree in religion, even though Duke's mascot is the Blue Devil.
    He considered running for political office after retiring from basketball, even though he claims he's 'too idealistic' to run.
    Despite winning four awards in college, he struggled to win awards in the NBA.
    His jersey number was retired by Duke.
    He was the second player that the Grizzlies drafted after they moved to Memphis from Vancouver.
    He was about the only decent player for Memphis before he was traded.
    He serves on the board of directors for St. Jude's Hospital and the Memphis Zoo.
    He is considered to be a team player who does not try to pad his own stats.
