    He lost to Curtis Strange by one stroke in the 1989 U.S. Open.
    The trophy he won in the Masters Tournament was stolen while it was in a train (December 21, 1991).
    His caddie, Miles Byrne, added another club on his bag that passed the requirement of 14 clubs which led to him to have a two-stroke penalty in the final round of the 2001 British Open.
