Why Bernie Mac Show might be annoying:

'FOX' constantly switches time slots with the show.
The title sounds like a sketch show.
The premise isn't terribly original.
The show was turned down by all the other major networks and 'The WB.'
Production was shut down during the fourth season so Bernie could recover from pneumonia.
The creator 'Larry Wilmore' was fired during the second season.

Why Bernie Mac Show might not be annoying:

It mixes Bernie Mac's sense of humor with family values.
The show is shot single camera with no laugh track.
It 'breaks the 4th wall' by having Bernie talk to the audience.
Bernie was named #47 in TV Guide's list of '50 Greatest TV Dads of All Time' (2004).
It won an Emmy for writing in it's first year.
It's a show about black people that's not on UPN.
