Wrestler

The Resume

    (October 6, 1935-April 18, 2018)
    Wrestled for the WWF
    Former WWF Heavyweight Champion
    Regarded as 'The Living Legend'

Why he might be annoying:

He was so serious about the business that he always did his interviews in character.
He strongly disliked Vince McMahon and thought he ruined wrestling and was never afraid to hide his feelings towards him.
Due to his differences with the McMahon family, he was never inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame.
When Hulk Hogan's popularity soared, his popularity and importance faded and he could never get back to how he used to be.
He had a severe case of cauliflower ear.
His son, David, was highly regarded as the future of wrestling and a rising star, but his career ended up being a disaster.
His stint as color commentator was short-lived due to his heavy accent and limited skills in communication.
Along with Lou Albano, he did a 900 wrestling trivia hotline, charging $2 a minute.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's considered one of the greatest world champions of all-time.
His first title reign, lasting seven years, makes him the longest-reigning WWF Champion ever.
He was the first wrestler to win the belt more than once.
    His career spanned four decades.
When PWI ranked the top 400 wrestlers in the history of the WWF, he was ranked #1.
He's a member of the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
He headlined Madison Square Garden 211 times, 187 of which were sell-outs.
He was the first person to body slam the 600-plus pound Haystacks Calhoun.
Until Hulk Hogan and 'Hulkamania' came around, he was the biggest name in wrestling and the WWF was built entirely around him.
He was able to have a great match with anybody who was in the ring with him.
Although he was the biggest name in wrestling and had plenty of pull in the business, he had great respect for his opponents and was always willing to work together.
