Why he might be annoying:

    He initially planned to attend Montana Tech on a scholarship, but relented in order to play at Central Washington as a walk on.
    He was a practice roster member of three different NFL teams during the 2009 off-season.
    He landed the Eskimos starting quarterback job after its incumbent starter, Matt Nichols, went down with an injury.
    He struggled to stay healthy in his first couple seasons as the Eskimos starting quarterback.
    He had a couple potato chip flavors named after him, which were only available for purchase at Co-Op grocery stores in Western Canada.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is in a select group of NCAA quarterbacks to throw a touchdown pass in every game of his college career.
    He set a new Eskimo franchise record for most passing yards in a single game (2013)
    He guided the Eskimos to a Grey Cup victory, which ended a 10 year championship drought (2015).
    He is a fan favorite amongst Edmonton fans.
