Hockey Player

The Resume

    (July 20, 1973- )
Drafted as the 6th overall pick in the NHL's 1991 draft
    Forward the Philadelphia Flyers (1991-92. 2005-07), Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche (1992-2005, 2007-08, 2010-11) and the Nashville Predators (2007)
    Seven time NHL All-Star
    Awarded the Calder Trophy (1994-95)
    Awarded the Hart Trophy (2002-03)
Awarded the Art Ross Trophy (2002-03)

Why he might be annoying:

He is a dead ringer for a hockey playing version of Brad Pitt.
He was traded to the Quebec Nordiques by the Philadelphia Flyers along with (get this) Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, Mike Ricci, Ron Hextall, Chris Simon, Philly's 1993 and 1994 1st round draft picks and $15 million dollars for Eric Lindros.
He was plagued by various injuries.
He had several 'comebacks' from a serious injuries.
He went from being clean cut and shaven, to long-haired and bearded, to shaving his head and having a goatee.
It was believed that before he was past his prime, he would retire from playing in the NHL and finish his career in Sweden's Modo hockey team.
He once said: 'I always said I wanted to play one year in Sweden before I retire and I don't want to play there when I'm brutal.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is left handed.
He has crystal clear blue eyes.
He had a career plus minus of +238.
He won the NHL's 'Rookie of the Year Award,' the Calder Memorial Trophy.
He was often considered, pound for pound, the best hockey player in the NHL.
Scott Stevens said of him: 'He's a finesse money player who can handle whatever is thrown at him.'
Wayne Gretzky once said: 'If I had to pick three players to start a franchise, I'd choose Hasek, Peter Forsberg and Eric Lindros.'
He loves his homeland of Sweden and doesn't want to embarrass himself by playing in it past his prime.
