Football Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He shares his name with the English musician.
He violated NCAA rules by accepting money from former player agent Josh Luchs while attending Michigan State.
He set an NFL record for most fumbles in a single season in his rookie season.
He angered his coach, Dick Vermeil, when he brought his Rottweiler puppy to the Rams training camp (1997).
He skipped a team flight after a shutout defeat, for which he offered his teammates a half-assed apology.
It was bad enough that Rams owner Georgia Frontiere intervened and told him he had to make a sincere genuine apology in order to stay on the team.
Having worn out his welcome in St. Louis after three years, the Rams traded him to Baltimore and signed Trent Green as his replacement.
That same Rams offence he had been part of would go on to win the Super Bowl the following year with Kurt Warner at the helm.
He struggled as the Ravens starting quarterback.
He became nothing but a glorified backup for the rest of his career.
At the end of his career, his skills were poor enough that he couldn't earn the starting job on an expansion Texans team.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was an outfielder for the Minnesota Twins single A affiliate in Fort Myers, Florida, before establishing himself as a football player.
He was the first quarterback selected in the 1996 NFL Draft.
He earned the Rams starting quarterback position in his rookie season.
He left MIchigan State among the top ten leaders in the school football program for completion percentage, career passing yards, and passing touchdowns.
He was a member of the first Ravens team to win the Super Bowl (2000).
He was the first quarterback in NFL history to record five consecutive wins after losing his first five games in a single season.
