Why he might be annoying:

He initially wanted to be a lounge singer.
Hospitalized with colon problems he asked God to heal him, believed He did and decided to follow in his father's footsteps.
He acquired many of his positions due to nepotism.
He divorced his first wife in 1979 after nine years of marriage.
She claimed he turned into a greedy clone of his father and basked in a jet-set lifestyle.
Three former ORU professors filed a lawsuit against him, claiming wrongful termination.
During the investigation widespread misappropriation of university funds was discovered (October 2007).
He took an 'indefinite leave of absence,' citing personal reasons, then a month later formally quit.

Why he might not be annoying:

He generously helps out doofuses who don't know what to with their money by taking it off their hands.
His only son, Richard Oral, died 36 hours after birth.
It took him only a month to realize his tenure at ORU wasn't going to continue and quit rather than dig his heels in and fight.
