Why Drake & Josh might be annoying:

It was basically a white Kenan and Kel.
The acting was terrible and the jokes were corny as hell.
Drake seemed to have a new girlfriend in every episode.
It tried to force Drake Bell's attempt at a music career down the public's throat.
Josh Peck's weight loss made him look almost unrecognizable in later episodes.
They often had 70's and 80's has-beens like Erik Estrada and Gary Coleman appear on the show.

Why Drake & Josh might not be annoying:

It was one of Nickelodeon 's most popular shows.
Miranda Cosgrove went on to star in the popular sitcom 'ICarly.'
Peck and Bell were good friends in real life and had great chemistry on the show.
It appealed to people outside of Nickelodeon 's typical demographic.
After the series ended, Drake Bell and Josh Peck faded into obscurity.
