Why Toronto Hockey Club might be annoying:

    They went by the nicknames 'Trolley Leaguers' and 'Argonauts' in the local media.
    They are mistakenly believed to be part of the Maple Leafs history, due to the fact they used the Toronto HC moniker.
    Their claim to fame in hockey circles is losing a Stanley Cup challenge match.
    They were strictly an exhibition team during their first season of play.
    They ceased operations a year after their Stanley Cup loss.

Why Toronto Hockey Club might not be annoying:

    They were one of the charter members of the of the Ontario Professional Hockey League.
    They were one of the first hockey teams to employ a purple and white color scheme.
    They won the OPHL championship in their first season.
    They didn't get blown out in their Stanley Cup challenge match against the Montreal Wanderers, losing by a respectable 6-4 score (1908).
    They played their home games at Toronto's historic Mutual Street Rink.
