Why they might be annoying:

The origin of the band's name recalls King's College in Cambridge, England, where the group was formed by six choral scholars in 1968.
The group members have changed over the years.
In fact, none of the original members are with the current lineup.
Around the year 2000, the group was briefly known as 'king'singers' (with a lower case 'k' and only two 's's).
In 2007, they performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.
Their act is a bit of a shtick.

Why they might not be annoying:

The group is well known for their strong vocal range and a capella musical performances.
They perform a mixture of classical, folk, and contemporary songs.
They performed on Julie Andrews's 1987 Christmas special.
In February 2009, their CD, 'Simple Gifts,' won a Grammy Award for Best Classical Crossover Album.
They make you forget that there are no instruments playing.
They are Britain's answer to the Three Tenors and Straight No Chaser.
