Fictional accounts claim she committed suicide the same year Macbeth died, however, there are no valid sources supporting this.

Her first husband was burned to death in a hall with 50 of his men.
The next year one of her male relatives (probably her only brother), was murdered by Malcolm II.
She had a son from her first marriage, who went on to succeed Macbeth after his death.
There is no historical indication that she was a sadistic shrew towards her husband.
She may have been forced to marry Macbeth as an act of conquest (some accounts claim he killed her first husband).
She in all likelihood had nothing to do with the death of King Duncan (who, in real life, was killed on the battlefield and not asleep in his bed).
She has been portrayed by some of the greatest actresses of all time.
She was a beloved queen who reigned for seventeen years.
